How it’s figured
One bad day should never cost more than a quarter of the room your firm gives you, and never reach the firm’s own daily limit. Your daily loss limit comes from that. Max trades is how many of your losses fit inside it. The consistency rule caps your biggest day at that share of the profit target.
Rules of thumb for discipline, not financial advice. Your firm’s own rules always win.
