Get the extension

The extension is the part that keeps your rules: it reads your P&L inside your trading platform and calmly locks trading at your limit. It takes a minute to add.

   Download and unzip it

   Download the zip above, then unzip it (right click, Extract all). You get a "TradeGuard" folder. Keep it somewhere it will stay, like Documents.

   Open your extensions page

   In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions (copy it into the address bar).

   Turn on Developer mode

   The switch is at the top right of that page.

   Click "Load unpacked"

   Pick the "TradeGuard" folder you unzipped. It appears in your list right away.

   Pin it

   Click the puzzle icon in Chrome’s toolbar and pin TradeGuard, so its shield is always in view.

   Keep your account numbers on screen

   TradeGuard reads your balance and P&L from the page. Keep your trading panel open (on TradingView, the bottom panel with your account). If your broker isn’t read automatically, click Connect once and point to them.
